  • When and where is the 2024 Global Digital Development Forum?

    Join us between June 12-13 virtually and in-person at the National Union Building in Washington, D.C., United States for the Annual Global Digital Development Forum!

    The National Union Building is located at 918 F Street NW, Washington DC, 20004 and is accessible via a number of transportation options, including Uber, Lyft and DC Metro:

    • One block from GALLERY PLACE METRO (RED AND GREEN LINES)

    • Two blocks from METRO CENTER (RED, ORANGE, BLUE, AND SILVER LINES)

  • There is no on-site parking at the National Union Building. There are a number of secure parking garages within a few blocks of the location. Here are the parking options in order of distance:

    How do I access the virtual event the days of the conference?

    When the virtual platform launches soon, you will be able to go to https://digitaldevforum.course.tc/catalog/global-digital-development-forum-2024 and use the username and password you used to register to attend.

  • If you request a cancellation/refund before May 19, 2024, you will receive a full refund.

    If you request a cancellation/refund between May 19, 2024 to June 5, 2024, you will receive a 50% refund.

    If you request a cancellation/refund after June 5, 2024, you will not be eligible for a refund.

    Your registration fee can be transferred to a substitute attendee from the same organization.

  • GDDF hosted a formal call for session submissions and speakers that concluded on March 8, 2024. The GDDF Committee may consider additional speakers to be included in existing sessions depending on the topic and expertise. If interested, please email info@techchange.org.

  • As of May 12, 2023, noncitizen nonimmigrant visitors to the U.S. arriving by air, land, or sea no longer need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. However, we do recommend being vaccinated and/or receiving a booster prior to traveling.

    The Washington D.C. venue for GDDF 2024 is located in Ward 2 in Downtown DC. The District of Columbia does not have any COVID restrictions in place currently. However, DC follows current CDC recommendations. Basic health practices including staying home when sick, hand-washing and covering mouths when coughing or sneezing remain critical tools in preventing spread of illness.
